Prof. Dr. Wang Yanfen, Professor of Ecology, Executive Vice President of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Prof. Wang is the Vice Chairperson of China Ecological Society, and China Natural Resources Society. She is the independent board member of the International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD).
Her research interest is the structure, function and sustainable development of the Eurasian grassland ecosystem, and its response and adaption to human activities and climate change. She has hosted a number of national research projects and published more than 200 papers in major scientific journals, such as Global Change Biology, New Phytologist, Ecology, etc.
