UCAS faculty, supported by CAS institutes, has emphasized innovation. They have published many high-quality papers in such leading international academic journals as Science and Natural, and have received numerous prestigious awards.
As of 2014, UCAS personnel had published 8610 scientific papers, among which 6707 papers were indexed by SCI and 1384 by EI, and they had received 97 awards, including 32 national prizes.
